Machine Keypads

I found this video on machine keypads. I’ve never tried stacking multiple pads on the vowel keys. Seems like a great idea though.

I don’t think they manufacture the textured-rubber pads that I currently have. I just order some leather ones. I hope they last longer than the rubber ones though. I loved the feel of the rubber ones, but they started to slide after about a month of use.

    Elsie,
This is Virginia. The additional pads on the vowel keys to have them leveled with the other keys was definitely a learning experince. I have leather pads on my protege’, I’m going to add two more pads to my vowel keys…

P.S. I’ll let u know how it turns out. Thanks for the vieo.

I have leather keypads too. I haven’t done the boost to my vowel keys yet. However, some machine manufacturers are now making raised vowel keys an option upon purchasing a machine. I’m not sure if I’m going to do that yet, though.
