Dictionary Builder: Banal

Banal is an adjective that means, “lacking originality, freshness, or novelty; trite.”

The word banal rhymes with canal; therefore, I write banal the same way I do canal, except I substitute a “b” for the “c.”

Option #2: banal= BANL
