Medical Monday: Anoxia & Hypoxia

Anoxia is a condition that occurs when oxygen is not properly delivered to a part of the body. The term anoxia is sometimes used as a synonym to the term hypoxia. However, hypoxia is also specifically defined as a variety of the condition of anoxia that “does not involve total oxygen deprivation.”

Legal Vocabulary: Impleader

Impleader is defined by the Free Dictionary as, “A procedural device used in a civil action whereby a defendant brings into the lawsuit a third party who is not already a party to the action but may ultimately be liable for the plaintiff’s claim against the defendant.
