Medical Monday: Darvocet

Darvocet is classified as a narcotic pain reliever. The drug contains a combination of acetaminophen and propoxyphene. Darvocet was prescribed to relieve mild to moderate pain that exists with, or without, a fever. However, in November 2010, Darvocet was withdrawn from the United States market.
